Innovator's Toolkit: Understanding Regulatory Components for Drug and Medical Device Innovations

In this workshop, Prof. Andrew Heinrich of the School of Public Health will present on the regulatory components of the innovation in the drugs and medical devices field. Prof. Heinrich will expand on the importance of regulation during the entrepreneurial process, covering its influence on trials, approval processes, corporate structure, governance, investment, and IPOs. Regulatory dynamics are often the most significant considerations in the start-up and M&A process for any health entrepreneur. This workshop will be particularly helpful for those thinking about innovation in biotech and health and wellness industries.
