From Wednesday to Friday, community leaders, investors, practitioners and Yale student entrepreneurs came together to discuss and foster innovation at Startup Yale — an annual event organized to celebrate the innovations of Yale students.

Four student teams took home 2019’s Startup Yale prizes on April 5, in the culmination of a three-day event celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation at Yale.

Finalists have been announced for the two Startup Yale prizes managed by Tsai CITY. Reflecting Yale’s diverse innovation ecosystem, these student teams join a cohort of Startup Yale prize finalists working on ventures in fields from healthcare to sustainability. The teams will pitch their ideas on Friday, April 5, as part of Startup Yale, a three-day gathering of Yale’s innovation community that is free and open to the public.
