Climate Innovation Intensive Coordinator
Fall 2024
The Climate Innovation Intensive aims to broaden understanding of climate entrepreneurship and innovation through different perspectives. The intensive jointly hosted by Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking and the Center for Business and Environment will be held over six weeks from September 30th to November 18th, 2024. The intensive is a cohort-based program where participants will interact closely with startups, investors and other partners to explore sectors addressing climate change. Startups range across different stages and include hard-tech, software and nature based solutions. The intensive is open to all Yale students and will take place in fall 2024. As Coordinator of the Climate Innovation Intensive, you would be responsible for planning, coordinating and running the program. This role will require 8 hours of time per week.
Specifically, that means you would:
- Assist in designing the curriculum
- Coordinate and recruit diverse speakers and partner organizations
- Manage the admission process and support the recruitment of diverse participants
- Create prep material for each session
- Coordinate and communicate with participants
- Provide guidance and feedback to entrepreneurial ideas presented by cohort participants
- Coordinate workshop sessions and facilitate team working sessions
Don’t worry, you won’t be on your own! You will work in a team of 2 students and under the guidance of CBEY and Tsai CITY staff.

The position is primarily in person, with some flexibility for meetings to happen remotely.
