Creative Content Associate

The Creative Content Associate (CCA) will play a key role in helping grow Tsai CITY’s storytelling and creative communications initiatives, with a particular focus on visual, video, and emerging media. This position is prominently a video and photo capture and editing role, requiring the ability to record in-person and edit content quickly, remotely. Primary responsibilities will include conceptualizing and leading projects that tell Tsai CITY stories in compelling ways; partnering with program managers across Tsai CITY to produce high-quality video and digital outputs; and helping build out Tsai CITY’s capacity in these areas. A key facet of the role will be thinking creatively about video production and opportunities for innovation in the production of virtual or hybrid programs and content. The role will involve both short-turnaround projects (like video content for social media) and longer-term projects based on the CCA’s interests. The CCA will also work with the Communications & Marketing Director and other team members to help build out Tsai CITY’s storytelling and communications efforts, with opportunities to propose and take on strategic projects.
Job Requirements:
- Strong video production skills and ability to manage processes from concept development through editing and publishing.
- Knowledge of social media video ratios and the best type of content for each platform.
- An “eye” for compelling stories and ideas and experience producing projects across different media.
- Ability to balance multiple projects/deadlines (including quick-turnaround deadlines) and to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work on occasional evenings and weekend days.
- Interest in thinking creatively about storytelling and communications.
- Experience with animation and motion graphics.
