Graphic Design Associate

2024-2025 academic year

The Graphic Design Associate (GDA) will be key in conceptualizing and producing creative communications materials for Tsai CITY. The GDA will have the exciting opportunity to lead brand strategy and design production projects. Primary responsibilities will include producing a wide range of materials meant to broaden CITY’s reach (such as signage, illustrations, infographics, collateral, social media graphics, templates for future projects, and more) and contributing to special projects such as exhibits or media series. The GDA will also work with the Communications & Marketing Director and other team members to help build out Tsai CITY’s broader visual and storytelling efforts, with opportunities to propose and take on strategic projects.

Job Requirements

• Strong skills in graphic design, including concept generation and development 
• Strong working knowledge of standard design software tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva)
• Experience with graphic design for print and digital products
• Skilled at developing presentation and concept decks 
• Comfortable working creatively within brand and style guidelines
• Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects/deadlines (including quick-turnaround deadlines)
• Strong attention to detail when finalizing designs 
• Interest in thinking creatively about graphic design and building Tsai CITY’s visual identity
