A leadership program for experienced student founders with mature ventures. Advance your work while mentoring peers, strengthening the founder community, and helping shape entrepreneurship and innovation at Tsai CITY.

Overview

Founders-in-Residence is designed for experienced student founders who are ready to take on a leadership role within Tsai CITY’s entrepreneurial community.

Participants continue advancing their own ventures while sharing what they’ve learned with other student founders. Through mentorship, coaching, community dinners, and Venture Friday programming, Founders-in-Residence help create a stronger and more connected venture community.

The program is best suited for founders whose ventures have progressed beyond Tsai CITY’s other venture development programs.

Resources

Participants receive:

  • One-on-one mentorship with experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts
  • Personalized coaching around venture challenges and opportunities
  • Community dinners with fellow founders and entrepreneurial leaders
  • Opportunities to connect with Launch Pad and Accelerator teams
  • Continued access to Tsai CITY’s venture development community and network

Application and Criteria

Founders-in-Residence may be a good fit if you:

  • Have a mature venture demonstrating significant growth and traction
  • Have completed Tsai CITY venture development programs or have advanced beyond their scope
  • Want to continue advancing your venture while supporting other founders
  • Are interested in taking an active leadership role within the Tsai CITY community

Expectations

Participants are expected to:

  • Participate actively in mentorship and community programming
  • Take on leadership roles in Tsai CITY events and programs
  • Support founders participating in Launch Pad and Accelerator
  • Attend two Founders-in-Residence dinners
  • Host four additional dinners with the Launch Pad community
  • Build meaningful connections across the venture development community
