Tsai CITY wins at the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers Conference
Tsai CITY wins the 2021 GCEC award for being one of the most outstanding, emerging entrepreneurship centers in the world, among universities with over 5,000 students.
The GCEC is a consortium of 250 leading global university entrepreneurship programs that work together to share best practices and address the concerns of entrepreneurship centers. GCEC is best known for promoting, strengthening, and celebrating the contributions and impact of entrepreneurship through the unique role and position of the centers in the academic and business communities.
Tsai CITY, known for inspiring students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to seek innovative ways to solve real-world problems, is celebrating the recent achievement of winning the 2021 GCEC award for being one of the most outstanding, emerging entrepreneurship centers in the world, among universities with over 5,000 students.
Tsai CITY offers an inclusive, innovative environment where students from all backgrounds develop and pursue their creative ideas by turning them into projects and/or businesses. Projects from social movements and intrapreneurial businesses, to digital platforms or nonprofit organizations are developed here at Tsai CITY. Students tackle issues like climate change and civic engagement, as well as launch high-growth ventures and ideas.
This GCEC award and recognition comes in Tsai CITY’s fourth year since opening in 2017. The award speaks to the hard work of the outstanding Yale students, their mentors, their educators, their diverse, innovative projects and our remarkable staff.
