Reserve a Room
Tsai CITY offers meeting and event space for affiliated student organizations and eligible Yale departments hosting student-facing activities aligned with innovation and entrepreneurship.
Who can reserve space?
Already affiliated? Use the reservation link provided in your club approval email to request space.
Not yet affiliated? Student organizations can apply to become Tsai CITY affiliates for the 2026-27 academic year.
Starting September 15, 2026, Yale departments may request space for co-curricular activities that align with Tsai CITY's mission and engage students in innovation, entrepreneurship, experimentation, or collaborative problem-solving.
Before You Request
Tsai CITY spaces are intended for co-curricular, student-facing activities that support innovation and entrepreneurship.
Your event should:
- Be co-curricular rather than a credit-bearing course, lab, or class session.
- Meaningfully engage Yale students.
- Align with applied, experimental, or action-oriented innovation.
- Support skill-building, experimentation, venture development, entrepreneurship, or collaborative problem-solving.

Plan Ahead

When reservations open
To ensure Tsai CITY programs and affiliated student organizations have priority access to the building:
Student organizations: First day of classes
Yale departments: Two weeks after classes begin
Priority is given to Tsai CITY-affiliated student organizations and mission-aligned requests.
Building Hours
Monday–Sunday
9 AM–10 PM, with swipe access
Hours may change during Yale holidays and recesses.
