Venture Development Program Coordinator

The Tsai CITY Venture Development Program Coordinator will help lead the Launch Pad and Accelerator programming. These programs are designed to help founders take their ventures to the next level through speaker sessions, resources, mentorship, and community. It creates a safe space for like-minded innovators to reflect on what they have learned and further develop their ventures with the support of Tsai CITY.
The Venture Development Program Coordinator will assist with the program's planning, participate in facilitating live sessions, manage student feedback, and spearhead communication and engagement with an assigned venture cohort.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate is actively engaged in Tsai CITY, is detail-oriented, has project management or communications experience, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities for Venture Development Program Coordinator:
Work with the Associate Director of Student Programming and the VDP Coordinator team to plan and execute the Launch Pad and Accelerator programs:
- Send out information, links, or calendar invitations to founders.
- Assist the Tsai CITY team in tackling program changes, feedback, or questions.
- Assist with the planning and coordinating content for live sessions and events such as the Launch Pad Roadblock session, Accelerator Pitch-off, etc.
- Assist in gathering venture development resources for venture use
Support the hosting of VDP sessions:
- Assist with set-up and breakdown for VDP sessions
- Support speakers during sessions
- Assist with Q+A during sessions
- Introduce keynote speakers at the beginning of sessions
- Support facilitation needs such as creating breakout rooms, leading discussions, collaboration, brainstorming, etc.
- Execute the end-of-program pitch-off competition.
The role requires in-person availability on Fridays to support hosting the VDP sessions.
Be another point of contact for the ventures:
- Manage feedback and send out surveys to collect real-time responses from the students.
- Communicate weekly with assigned venture cohort, including 1-1 meetings and group updates
- Foster community, engagement, and connection among the ventures.
- Help to manage communication on platforms, such as Circle and monday.com
