WE@Yale Women Innovators Series: Laura Melendrez

The WE@Yale Women Innovators Series is designed to foster community discussion, idea sharing, and best practices in support of Yale women and non-binary femme entrepreneurs and innovators. Community members of all genders are welcome to attend these talks, which are free and open to the public. Join us to hear from Laura Melendrez (Yale SOM '16), co-founder of Amor & Rosas.

Laura Melendrez was born in Arizona, grew up in Sinaloa, Mexico, and has lived in Mexico City since 2012. She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Marketing from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, an MBA from the EGADE School of Business with a Master in Advanced Management from the Yale School of Management. Laura has lived in Italy, Canada, and the U.S. Her areas of expertise are social entrepreneurship, fashion, marketing, and retail sales.

Laura is a self-driven person who enjoys taking on new challenges, an intrapreneur, and entrepreneur. More recently, she co-founded Amor & Rosas, an ethical fashion brand, with the objective to transform the lives of those women who wear A&R´s clothes, but also transform the lives of those women who make the garments.

This event will take place online; a Zoom link will be provided to registered attendees.
