The StudioX: Creativity and Innovation Program features a series of public events, with hands-on workshops facilitated by industry professionals and a speaker panel composed of art innovators from Yale's alumni community.
StudioX: Creativity and Innovation Program is a pilot program focusing on addressing real-world problems that are unique to creatives when navigating a career in creative and arts innovation—whether as fine artists, visual artists, or in any other creative capacity. The program is designed to provide practical knowledge, tools, and resources to support those pursuing work in creative industries.
This program is for you if:
- You are interested in exploring how creativity and innovation go hand-in-hand.
- You are interested in hearing how art innovators across different creative fields have forged their own paths.

This hands-on workshop will cover all aspects of branding, specifically tailored for creatives. Content will cover: what branding is, why it is important in one's career (particularly as a creative), and how to start building an effective brand. This workshop is for creatives interested in developing a standout brand.
10/27, 5PM - 6:30 PM | Workshop: Applying Innovative Principles to Your Creative Career
This hands-on workshop will uncover how innovative principles can enhance creative careers, what innovative principles are best-practice, and start exploring how you can apply innovative principles in your own creative careers. This workshop is for creatives who are interested in implementing innovative tools in their creative practice and/or projects. By the end, you’ll understand innovation’s role in creative careers, discover best practices, and explore innovation integration in your work

Three art innovators who graduated from Yale will share how they translated their creative and artistic practices into innovative careers. The speaker panel is for students interested in hearing how art innovators across different creative fields have forged their own paths.
